NativeLegacy Designs

We bring you our original custom brand designs.

Why Choose My Products?

I am a citizen of the Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape Indians of Bridgeton, NJ. Our culture is in the branding and designs to bring awareness to our people and celebrate our legacy through our language. As you buy these original designs, you will see the products' patterns are in the Lenape language. Each item states a Native American name and meaning in the description. When you buy an item, you are helping us bring awareness of the legacy of our people to everyone.

The Heartbeat of This Store

Tanya Liverman

CEO

The purpose for this store is to assist with a donation to our tribe, Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape and will also help with our expenses for our daughter, who is a gifted gymnast.

Our Lenape ancestors were those who inhabited New Jersey, Delaware, southern New York and eastern Pennsylvania at the time the Europeans came. We called ourselves "Lenni-Lenape," which literally means "Men of Men", but is translated to mean "Original People."

Our Nanticoke ancestors, called the "Tidewater People," dwelled along the Indian River in Southeastern Delaware, having migrated from the Nanticoke River of the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Our Nanticoke ancestors were among the first of the Northeastern Indian Nations to resist European colonial intrusion into our homeland as early as the 1650's.

Our family wants to help preserve our culture as well as help educate others in our cutlure. Our proceeds towards our tribe will help support our tribal community events and Museum which is dedicated to sharing the continuing tribal history and culture of the Delaware Bay.

When we created this store, we thought of how we could leave a legacy to our family, not just our immediate family. However, we will be supporting our talented daughter, Malina, who is a gymnast and has proven in her journey thus far that she can go far as an athlete, and we don't want finances to be a stumbling block.

We thank you for all of your support.
